Preserved programme

How each draw worked

Adults Singles

The biggest draw of the tournament โ€” a full knockout bracket with 4 seeds kept apart.

Format 1

Knockout Draw

18 entrants

Single elimination, seeds spread across the bracket.

How it worked

  1. 118 players enter a single knockout draw, with 4 seeded players placed apart from each other in the bracket.
  2. 2Every match before the semifinals is a single full set, standard tennis rules.
  3. 3Quarterfinals, Semifinals and the Final are all best of 3 sets.
  4. 4Lose your match and you're out โ€” win to advance to the next round.

๐Ÿ† Outcome rule: Whoever wins every round, through the best-of-3 Final.

Adults Doubles

Six teams, two groups โ€” win your group and you're one match from the title.

Format 2

Group Stage + Final

6 teams

Round robin in your group, then straight to the Final.

How it worked

  1. 1Six teams were drawn into two groups of three.
  2. 2Every team played the other teams in its group once.
  3. 3The winner of each group advanced directly to the Final.
  4. 4All group-stage and Final matches used a best-of-three-sets format under standard tennis rules.

๐Ÿ† Outcome rule: Winner of the best-of-3 Final between the two group champions.

Kids Singles

Two groups of 3, first-to-21 scoring, and rules tweaked to keep it fun and fair for kids.

Format 3

Group Stage + Final

6 entrants

First to 21 points, groups of 3, underarm serves welcome.

How it worked

  1. 1Six junior players were drawn into two groups of three.
  2. 2Every match, including the Final, used first-to-21 scoring.
  3. 3Underarm and overhead serves were allowed, with additional breaks available when needed.
  4. 4The two group winners met in the Final.

๐Ÿ† Outcome rule: Winner of the first-to-21 Final between the two group champions.

Kids Doubles

Only two teams entered, so it's a single match โ€” made longer to give it real weight.

Format 4

Single Final

2 teams

Straight to the Final โ€” first to 31 points.

How it worked

  1. 1Only 2 teams entered, so there's a single match โ€” straight to the Final.
  2. 2The match is first to 31 points, longer than the other kids' matches to make up for the smaller field.
  3. 3Multiple breaks are given, as needed, to keep it comfortable for younger players.
  4. 4All other Kids rules apply โ€” underarm serves allowed, overhead serves fine too.

๐Ÿ† Outcome rule: Whichever team reaches 31 points first.
