Our History
How KLAOA Was Formed
The Klassik Landmark Apartment Owners Association (KLAOA) was established in January 2023 under the Karnataka Apartment Ownership Act 1972, following a challenging period during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Initially, many residents voiced concerns about the lack of organisation and support within the community. With the aim of fostering a cohesive environment, several owners initiated efforts to form an owners association, leading to significant collective demand for structured representation.
A group of owners had established a society under the 1959 Act without broader community consent, which complicated the situation. However, the establishment of KLAOA in January 2023 represented not just a legal victory, but also a commitment to fostering community cooperation.
Through persistent dialogue and collaboration with builders, holding multiple meetings, KLAOA has successfully completed many pending amenities and established a transparent governance structure.
